One common method for attaching boards together is to use hidden fasteners. These fasteners are designed to be concealed between the boards, which gives the surface a smooth and streamlined appearance. Hidden fasteners come in a variety of styles, but they all work by attaching the boards to the joists or other structural elements underneath.
This method of fastening can also help reduce the risk of splitting the composite, as there are no visible screws or nails to weaken the material. By using hidden fasteners, you can create a more visually appealing surface for your deck, porch, or other outdoor project.
